She reaches out and grab the beg and put it on her study desk. As she opens the beg's zipper, she notices a strange old torn up paper sticking out from her Science textbook. "How did this 'thing' get into my beg?" She ask herself as she reach the torn paper to check its content. " ...A map!?...To where though?" Says Rin while trying to find a clue of where does the map leads to. As her eyes scans for the clue, a writing in reddish blood appear beside the paper.
It reads, " At the end of the year in the darkest night, a crimson butterfly will flown by its own, wondering in the deepest forest of them all. If you ever saw it, follow it as it leads you to our past. As you by the 'Twins rock' you shall never return to your world, as we torment  your souls as you are now in hell." As Rin reads it in fear, a voice whispers to her ears as she sees a vision,she covers her eyes with her left arm as all the surrounding turns bright white.The surrounding then begins to dim and two girls were dress in a kimono was shown as they were playing with each other as they giggle and laugh together.The view suddenly changes as one of them begins to cry as the other confort her with pity, "Why is she crying..." Rin ask slowly as the girls were then taken to a sacred place away from their home.The vision went blur as Rin lastly saw the two girls was ask to lie on the sacred stone.
The vision returns back to normal as Rin sees the surrounding of her room, "Wha...What is that..Just now..." She ask herself while looking down at the map she's holding with curiousity overwhelm her.Who were they...What happen to them? Maybe I should ask Aniki about this thing,maybe he knows." She thought to herself as she puts the map ontop of her books beside the desk.
She continues with her work as she hears someone yell outside from her room, "Rin, I'm home!" . Mura walks in and closes the door as he takes off his shoes and puts it ontop of the shoe rack neatly. Rin quickly went out from her room and greet her brother with a 'welcome home' smile, "So, did you brought me anything today?" She ask her brother with a big grin on her face. "Hmm...Let me see,nope.. I didn't" Says Mura as he checks his laptop beg, Rin's big grin face turns upside down as she hears the reply. "Oh, okay then." She says as she walks back towards to hr room, as she was about to open the door her brother stops her. "Oh, what's this? A chocolate bar? And its YOUR favorite too. Hmm... I wonder who put this in here. Oh well, maybe I should just throw it awa--" , "NO!! Give it !" Shouts Rin as she rushes back to her brother to get the chocolate from his hand.
"Is that for me?" She ask out sweetly to her brother, " Of course not...Its ours.Don't be greedy, share it, alright?" Mura says out with a smile on his face as she gives the chocolate  bar to Rin. " Okay! Aniki...When will Onii~san coming home...I miss him.." Says Rin as she looks down onto her chocolate. Mura only went silent as he hears what Rin have said. " Aniki, is there something wrong? Did I say something unpleasent for you to hear?" Ask Rin as she looks up to her brother's face with concern in her eyes. "No, its nothing...He'll come back soon, I'm sure of it.Now, I'm gonna take a shower while you go and prepare something hot to drink for us to watch some late night movies." Replies Mura as he walk towards to his room and enters it, shuting the door behind him with a 'click' sound.
Rin looks down to her chocolate bar and walks back to her room, shuting the door behind her quietly. She throws the chocolate bar on top of her study desk as she aproaches to her black chair. " Maybe I shouldn't say anything at all when he gives the chocolate. Why didn't I think before I talk? Stupid, stupid, stupid !" She thought to herself, blaming the fault for causing her brother to go speechless. She sighs and turns to her desk to continue to do her own work, but there was nothing to be done except for looking at the map again. She takes the map and puts it under the chocolate bar so it won't fly away eventhough her windows are connected to the laundry room. She searches for her favorite book on the bookshelf just next to her study desk.
"Where did I put that book again, I could have swarn that I've putted it in here somewhere. Did I lend to it anyone? Of course not! No,no, no, I've must misplace the book again." She says to herself as she searches for the book on the second part of the self. "Where are you, my precious lovely book?" She call out as she scans for the book's title on each of the books she collects for years. As she reaches to the end of the second shelf, she pulls out the book from the shelf that reads ' Legends Of The Past '. "There you are!" Rin says out happily as she pulls out the heavy book and puts it onto her desk. "Darn this book is heavy!" She says to herself as she flips open the book to find the book's contents page.
"Let see, hmm... Legend in China..Malaysia..German..No...Oh, here you are! Legend in Japan, page..uh..329." She says to herself as she quickly turns to that page, she then quickly reads about the legend and tries to find only what she needs that is, where does Himuro mansion is located, "It is said that the Himuro mansion is located outside of Tokyo. But the way to this mansion was closed down, because of some weird murder cases reported happened 50 years ago. Hmm... I wonder if I can get in there without being spot..But still noone is guarding it..Silly me!..Yea, and maybe tomorrow I'll go and check it out!" Rin says to herslef as she closes the book and puts it back to where she found it. She looks at her files and take a piece of paper, then writes down what she needs for tomorrow in her check-list. "Let see, I need my camera, 20 types of the camera's films, a long lasting torchlight, 20 sets of batteries, some salt and a pair of clothes. Oh yeah, the map! Don't want to get lost in the woods now! And not the least, my trustful cellphone! " Says Rin as she takes her cellphone and pose like Sailor Moon ready for action.
Rin quickly went out from her room and goes straight to the kitchen to find some salt for her expedition. As she searches for the salt on top of the shelves, Mura went into the kitchen to cook his food but finds Rin searching for something that make him go curious over her. "What are you looking for, Rin?" Ask Mura while taking out some eggs and sausages from the fridge next to him. "Oh, um.. Nothing, just some salt.. I guess.." Replies Rin while still searching for it, "Salt? Why you need it anyway?" Mura ask again  as he walks towards the cupboard and takes out a small clear glass bowl and walks back to the dining table and puts it down on top of the table as he breaks the eggs one by one into the bowl. "Well, I need it for my expedition. And before you can ask, we are going to an awesome place too!" Rin says it excitedly as she founds the salt and puts it in a plastic beg that she reaches it out from her short's pocket. "We? Whose this 'we' ? And where is this 'awesome place' you talking about?" Ask Mura once more as grab a spoon and beat the eggs gently enough to mix it all up, " 'We' are me, Yuki, Saya, Misa and Himori. And this 'awesome place' is located outside of Tokyo." Replies Rin as she ties both ends of the plastic beg into a loop and waks out from the kitchen to her room, leaving the door wide open.
She then grabs her begpack on top of the dressing table and puts the plastic beg fill with salt into the beg, after that she went straight to her wardrobe and takes out her favorite black shirt, a pair of comfortable easy going black jeans and a hairband to tie her hair just incase if her hair is disturbing her from doing her activities. "Let see, what else do I need..hmm.." Rin mumbles to herself as she takes the clothes and pack it up neaty in her beg while looking at the check-list. She then takes a black pen from her desk and cross the things that she already have. "Hmm... Salt, check. A pair of clothes, check. Oh my camera! Don't want to miss all the best things now." She says to herself as she takes out her camera from inside the box and brush  some of the dust off after months the box spend its time under her bed. Rin then puts the camera next t her begpack and takes out all the films that she keeps in the box and puts half of it in the beg meanwhile the other half are put beside the camera.
After that, she goes to her study desk and slides open the second drawer and takes out a black colour torchlight. "I wonder if this thing can still work after such years spending in this drawer." Rin mumbles to herself as she checks where the batteries are insert into the torchlight. "There are some batteries in the torch, I wonder if the batteries still have some power it in." She thought as she flicks the torch's switch upwards, the light from the torchlight lights up and went dim as the old batteries losses its power. "Wha!?.. Note to self, change the batteries before leaving the house.." Rin mumbles as she sighs and puts the torchlight in the begpack, she then looks again into the drawer to find the batteries for the torchlight. "There must be somewhere in here. Where are you little batteries, come to me!" She says out loud as she sighs more, she checks the first drawer and found only 10 batteries but she needs another 10 of them to be secure around the darkness that'll surround her and her friends. "I'll go and buy it later on!" She yells and cross out the  things she have now, she then scans the check-list and only 2 items are left to be pack into her beg. A map and a cellphone, " This things, I'll pack them later on." She thought and jumps out to her bouncy bed.
Rin takes her cellphone and text her friends on what things they need to bring for tomorrow's expedition. "Done, done. And now what?" Says Rin as she puts her phone next to her and closes her eyes for a moment to think the things that she needs to pack for tomorrow. As she opens her eyes slowly, she looks up at the ceiling, thinking about the the past that had happen to her. "What a nightmare...I wish I'll never have to remember him again.." She thought as she tries to hold her tears from coming out, she then slowly falls into a deep dreamless sleep only surround by the darkness in the dream.
Mura walks pass through Rin's room and finds the door to her room is widely open, he sees their cat,Yuki walks in as her  soft fluffy tail brushes the wall. He peeks in and find Rin sleeping soundly in her cozy bed like a doll, he shakes his head smiling as he went out closing the door quietly and whispers " Good night, Rin. Sweet dreams." Mura walks into his room and shuts the door behind him, he looks at his computer and went to it, sitting on the end of his bed surfing the internet looking for something to pass his boring nothing to do time.
As he surfs the internet, he checks his emails trying to find something to catch his attention, but nothing, "only just some more boring emails from unkown people again", he thought. He changes the website to Google and tries to search for some interesting articles to read, but still nothing catches his eyes. He admits his defeats and closes the 'window' without having a second thought, he then lays back and rest his head upon the soft pillow, shutting his eyes and slowly drifts into a deep slumber.
